Hand picked and opened to order, served on a bed of fresh seaweed this is the dish you need to experience with a loved one – trust us! Add a drop of lemon or a dash of Tabasco or go natural, the choice is yours – as is 6, 9 or 12 oysters.
Mussels €8.95
Steamed until they are smiling! Fresh west coast mussels in a creamy garlic and white wine sauce, served with our own brown bread. A house speciality.
Irish Smoked Salmon €8.50
Delicate slices of traditional oak smoked salmon, garnished with capers, served with mixed salad leaves and brown bread. An old favourite.
King Prawns in Filo Pastry €7.95
Individually wrapped king prawns in crispy filo pastry, served with mixed salad leaves and garlic mayonnaise.

Homemade “Mountain” Chowder €6.50
We are famous for it!
Chunky pieces of smoked and white fish of the day plus various shellfish all bound in a smooth and creamy potato stock base. Served with home made brown bread.
Duck Liver Patè €7.95
A rich blended smooth patè of duck livers, onion, garlic, butter, cream and a dash or three of fine brandy all slowly baked in a water jacket to perfection and served with a small salad garnish and a classic red onion and balsamic reduction.
Fox’s Prawn Cocktail €8.95
Delicious Atlantic prawns on a bed of mixed salad leaves with seafood sauce in our own unique presentation.
Fox’s Crab Claws €10.95
Succulent crab claws sauteed in a herb and garlic butter and served with our home baked sweet brown soda bread.
Escargot (6 or 12) €8.95, €16.50
These delicacies are in herb and garlic butter and briefly cooked in the oven. Well worth the experience.
Goats Cheese €7.95
A round of goats cheese coated in panko breadcrumbs and poppy seeds fried until golden, served with a melon and mango chutney and garnished with a light salad.
